Who we are?

TRF also has a strong charity objective to help alleviate poverty, hardship and distress amongst women, children and the underprivileged mainly in Rajasthan focusing on education, health and ecology. To achieve this, TRF raises funds through its activities such as charity events, advertising revenue as well as through donations from generous sponsors. TRF believes in the three C's:

  • "Bina Agarwal is the director and co-founder of Stone World London, supplying natural stone to commercial and residential developments within the UK and abroad. Having studied Behaviour Modification in Calcutta, Bina then joined the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy as an honourary teacher, devoting her time to improving the quality of life of her students. In the UK, she has continued to support various organisations in their pursuit to help those in need. Bina hopes to contribute to TRF’s efforts in Rajasthan and help increase exposure and awareness of the Foundation."

  • “Mr Rajesh Chechani, is Chartered Accountants by profession and runs accountancy practice in Park Royal and also runs private healthcare organisation. Rajesh Chechani has been associated with TRF from last 6 years and also associated with Maheshwari Mahasabh UK as President, Lions club of Southgate as Trustee and Director. Mr Chechani is very passionate about working for Charities for Children’s help and well being based in Rajasthan.”

  • “Shailja is an honours graduate in Political Science from Calcutta University and has an advanced diploma in advertising and public relations. She has worked with ANZ Grindlays Bank in consumer finance in the past and is presently a partner in a boutique investment bank. Shailja has also been involved in teaching and assisting young children with learning difficulties. She has been actively associated with Rotaract Club and other social groups and charities. She has been an active member of TRF since inception and hopes to continue to contribute towards the growth of TRF and its objectives.”

  • “Dinesh Chowdhury is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has previously worked at PwC and IBM in their Business & IT consulting practice. Dinesh is currently employed with Accenture as a Senior Delivery and Solution Architect lead with experience in planning & implementing large Business & IT Transformation Programs. Dinesh has been engaged with other charitable organisation like RISE Community & London Sharad Utsav. Dinesh is keen about providing a strong platform for Rajasthanis in UK (& Europe) as well as join hands to support the cause of children & adults in need.”

  • “Varsha Dahad has been an active committee member and proponent of TRF since the inauguration of the Foundation. She is a Masters graduate of SNDT College, Mumbai, and more recently has carried her creative experimentation through to a business venture in events catering. She is also a director at Sangam.
