Following on from The Rajasthani Foundation Annual General Meeting held on November 30th at G. S. McKenzie Ltd., Shakespeare Road, Finchley Central, London, as communicated we were unable to present the Annual Report and Accounts to the end of 2008. 

Following submission of the Annual Report and Accounts to Companies House, we have now uploaded the same - click here to view and download it .

 

The report and accounts outline the key objectives and activities for The Rajasthani Foundation to April 2008.

 

Report highlights:

Objectives of the Charity

1. To work towards the relief of poverty, hardship and distress both within the UK and overseas, among members of the Rajasthani community, with special emphasis on Ecology, Health and Education for the benefit of Women, Children and the Underpriviledged by provision of such financial and/or material assistance as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

2. The advancement of education within the UK in the history, languages, literature, art, music and dance of Rajasthan by such charitable means as trustees shall from time to time determine and by provision of financial assistance to schools and/or educational establishments in Rajasthan which are in need of essential education materials, supplies or facilities.    

Activities of the Charity 

The Rajasthani Foundation organised 2 successful ticketed events (Diwali - November '07 / Holi - March '08)

Creation of the TRF Youth Committee

Membership increased from 154 to 205 families 

Financial highlights 

Total revenue from activities - £82,298 (£75.466 - 2007) 

Net income to March 2008 - £13,599

Total reserves at year end - £21,712

Total charity funds - £21,712 (£8,113 - 2007)
